Dec 18, 2008 - Lions Club of KL North organized a Free Health Screening project with the National Kidney Foundation, Malaysia and the Association of Kampung Baru Sungai Way to provide free health screening to the community in Kampung Baru, Sungai Way. The project was held on Dec 18, 2008 from 9.30am to 3.oopm, venue at Dewan Serbaguna Kampung Baru Sungai Way.It has got overwhelming response and we managed to proivde free screening to 108 people at the area, which we overshot our initial target of 80 people capacity a day. The residence association was asked to plan for another session soon. Congratulation to the Organizing Chairperson, Lion Peter Lek and his working committee for the excellent job.
